Bio
Ceramicist. Designer. Maker

I was first introduced to pottery by a studio potter in Malawi then introduced to design thinking and ceramic manufacturing techniques during my BA 3D Designer Maker programme at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent.
My work revolves around the dialogue that happens between the maker and the material during the creative process, mostly through material investigation and process-led approaches. Some of my forms are influenced by traditional Korean pottery due to my heritage and interest in the historical and cultural aspects of clay. Through my work, I hope to continue to grow my personal language as a maker, aiming for a higher quality of making.
